What we recommend should be in your First Aid Cabinet You should always make sure that your first aid cabinet is stocked with the correct equipment in case of an emergency, as you never want to get caught short when it comes to treating your employee’s. We recommend the following items to be in the cabinet: (actual quantities of equipment is subject to the number of employees the appointed first aid representative has responsibility for) Bandages
Ease strains and soft-tissue injuries and protect minor cuts, scratches and splinters so your employees can continue working in comfort and safety. Antiseptics Antiseptic spray is an important addition to your first aid cabinet. A pump spray allows simple no-touch application to help prevent infection. And it dries quickly to allow dressings and bandages to stick properly. Bleed Control Getting bleeding wounds under control immediately is as important for the health and safety of all of your employees as it is for the injured worker. Burn Care and Control When someone gets burned, the first step is always to call for professional medical assistance. But having the right products on hand while waiting for help to arrive is crucial. Pain, Cold & Stomach relief When employees don't feel well, their productivity suffers and so does your bottom line. Help your employees feel better with strong, effective, workplace-safe products that include pain relievers, antacids, nasal and sinus decongestant tablets and cough drops to treat all of the minor symptoms that persist throughout the year. Skin Care Skin irritants are not just uncomfortable; they can also be a major distraction on the job. When your employees' attention to detail is vital to your success, skin care products are your best prescription. Eye Care When chemicals or foreign objects get into the eye, approved eyewash in your first aid cabinet can help prevent a minor eye injury from becoming worse.
